I launched Island Adventures because I had a passion: showing off Florida and nearby islands to those passionate about sailing. I run a very relaxed ship with a crew of six. In fact, it's like a dream vacation--- sailing the crystal blue waters of the Bahamas with its white sandy beaches, or exploring the parks of the Florida Keys. Can you think of a better way to spend time, especially when you’re out on vacation?
We sail out of Ft. Lauderdale and we have access to some of the most beautiful cruising grounds in the world, including Biscayne Bay, the Florida Keys known for fishing and snorkeling, and finally, the Bahamas islands, namely Bimini, Berry Islands and Freeport, where our travelers can stop to shop, test their luck at the casino, try out the resorts and entertainment.
Life on the Island Rose is fantastic! You can spend lazy days sipping cool Pina Coladas while sunbathing in a hammock on the foredeck, and you can sail, windsurf, snorkel and explore deserted islands. You can also spend your evenings at a marina to enjoy the island nightlife or try your luck at the casinos. Plus, the romantic in you will want to anchor out in the ocean under the stars with no one around you but the cool sea breeze, the moon and the fish swimming silently by.
